Our horses range in age and ability from young and competitive sport horses, to older quiet trail-mounts. Some of our horses have special needs, but most just had an unfortunate run of bad luck and need a new change at a loving forever home. Our efforts are supported solely by donations, adoption fees, sponsorship and A LOT of volunteer sweat.
Our horses are categorized as appropriate for beginner riders (rider who is new around equines, comfortable at a walk and maybe a trot), intermediate riders (rider who is comfortable at all gaits, specifically can post the trot, and can handle equines in various situations and environments), and advanced riders (rider who is comfortable handling difficult or green equines in various situations and environments). We also have several horses that are not rideable, but would be great companion horses, as well as young soon-to-be started horses and a few in rehabilitation! Make sure to check back with us frequently for updates on available horses. We do our best to keep the available horse adoption gallery up to date as changes occur.
Horses may be visited by appointment only, please contact us to schedule a time to come meet them. You will need to have filled out an Adoption Application prior to making an appointment. Please note we rarely adopt horses out of state because we do require home checks and a riding evaluation of the horse you're interested in adopting.

She will be a fun and safe horse for somebody to take to low key events like cattle sorting (if they aren’t looking to win any awards!) and will be your steady eddy trail riding buddy (her favorite activity). Zoe is 9 years old and does have some arthritis in her hock due to a septic joint which she had surgery on at Littleton Equine Medical Center a few years back. She takes equioxx and is on a joint supplement. Adoption Fee: $1,500 |

DHOH "McClure" is ready for you! Sound, no spook, happy to go in the arena or on the trail, very calm demeanor - overall she's a catch. She is on the quicker side due to her being gaited which will require an intermediate rider who is comfortable handling a faster horse. Adoption Fee: $1,300 |
LUNA
Available for Adoption
Profile: Age: 11 Height: 14 hh Gender: Mare Breed: Grade Required Rider: Intermediate Weight Limit: 150 lbs Limitations/Maintenance: Daily equioxx Info: DHOH “Luna” is officially available for adoption! Luna is approximately 11 years old, 14.1 hands tall and is a grade mare although her body screams quarter horse to us! (No papers). Luna made her way back to the rescue a few months ago due to complications of the horse being over weight. Luna is an EASY KEEPER and it will be important to keep her from getting too round. Luna is great in the arena and on the trail and she has had experience with obstacle courses. She’s not going to be a speed horse… she would prefer to take things slow, though she will walk, trot and lope. She would be suited for a strong advanced beginner or an intermediate rider. And a small-ish rider at that since she is a little thing. Luna requires front shoes and is currently on equioxx for some mild hock arthritis. Depending on your grass situation, she’s going to require a muzzle, too! Adoption Fee: $1,200 |
