Donate feed and supplies.
Our rescue horses can always use things like supplements, grain, hay, and supplies such as winter blankets, shipping boots, fly spray, equine first aid kits, etc. We accept donations in kind in the latter forms and all donations are strictly utilized for the benefit of the rescue horses. If you would like to donate something from our Chewy wishlist or add us to your Kings Soopers Community Rewards Program, instructions can be found here. All donations may be dropped off at our home facility, Kings of Hearts Ranch in Franktown, Colorado. Please contact us to schedule a donation drop-off.
Donate gently used tack items to our next tack sale!
DHOH host tack sales to raise funds for rescuing, rehabilitating and training their rescue horses. If you're out cleaning out the ol' barn and find unwanted tack items such as saddles, blankets, headstalls, bits, SMBs, halters, leads, etc, you can donate these to a great cause through DHOH. We accept donations in kind in the latter forms and all donations are strictly utilized for the benefit of the rescue horses. All donations may be dropped off at our home facility, Kings of Hearts Ranch in Franktown, Colorado. Please contact us to schedule a donation drop-off.

At DHOH we're always welcoming in new volunteers and want to spread the word about our cause within our communities so that other children and horses may benefit from our program. Some of our volunteers do things like: build horse shelters, help maintain the property, provide horse care, provide horse training, and more. But even something as simple as sharing our Facebook page is a huge help!
We are an entirely volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit that is funded by donations, grants, and our fundraising efforts. Every donation goes directly to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming our horses. Our financial statements are public and our taxes are prepared by a CPA every year and can be found here. We take pride in being a transparent, honest organization. We appreciate any level of support, from $5 to $5,000. Every penny makes a difference in the lives of these amazing creatures.
