Last weekend we said goodbye to our sweet mare Hope. Hope was our first rescue and the heart of our project. She had been struggling with Cushings Disease, and an infection believed to be in her sinus cavity, and was truly a tough little mare. The DHOH Members were especially attached to Hope, and spent time with her regularly at the Funny Farm. Hope was the center of many of our events out at the Farm. She will never be forgotten. We thank our many friends for support in helping us care for and treat Hope over the past year.
